Ingredients

  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon toasted pine nuts or walnuts (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add the arugula leaves to a large salad bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the arugula just before serving.
  • Toss gently until the leaves are evenly coated.
  • Top with shaved Parmesan and toasted nuts.
  • Let the salad rest for 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend, then serve fresh.

Notes

  • Always add dressing just before serving to keep arugula fresh and crisp.
  • You can add cherry tomatoes, avocado, grilled chicken, or shrimp for a complete meal.
